Now that we have hit the “basics” in our “Coupon Crash Course”, let’s just “chat” about coupons for a while.
I don’t know about you, but typically when I think about saving money with coupons, a few things come to mind. Stacks of newspapers, cutting coupons for hours on end, where to store all these coupons, pulling out all expired coupons, THEN you can finally GO shopping. If it wasn’t stressful just preparing, now you have to search through ALL those coupons. I am sure you will fall victim to purchasing a few items you would NEVER use, just because you can save .20cents….right? Well erase all that. Really, close your eyes (it helps in the erasing process), hit erase, it’s gone. Don’t go back there, okay?
Let’s be honest. Saving money IS making money, but TIME is ALSO money. We would like to help make using coupons a way of life for you, but not a way of taking over your life. Using coupons does take some work, but I believe we have come up with a way to make it a WHOLE LOT EASIER.
So how are we going to make it easier for you? Glad you asked.
We are simply going to focus on the deals that are free, better than free, and ridiculously cheap. Period. That is it. Nothing else. When we say ridiculously cheap, we mean crazy insane cheap. Like getting a box of cereal for .25cents.
To keep this from becoming so overwhelming, we recommend you shop like you normally do and just start adding extras of the best deals in your grocery cart. One week you may get free toothpaste, toothbrushes and floss, the next week free soap, the next free cleaning supplies, the next free shampoo and conditioner, the next cheap canned veggies. Sales seem to cycle every 6 to 8 weeks, so you don’t have to clear the shelves and buy 100 of each item, but I would buy enough to last a couple of months at least. Do you see how this begins to build? If you can keep a nice supply between sales, then it gets to the point where you see a MAJOR dent in your grocery budget. I literally have not paid for toiletries and cleaning supplies in over a year. Those are the items that seem to really add up too!
The whole heart behind this website is to help people save money AND time. Finding the best deals that are out takes a LOT of time. We want to do that for you. Our Pantry Pros are experts at this, and will share the best of the best deals with our members.
So now that you have completed the Coupon Crash Course and have a new view on coupons from our Fireside Coupon Chat, now it is time to get some questions answered in our “Excuse Me, I Have A Question” Class. I know, catchy names aren’t they?
Remember, saving money doesn’t have to be stressful. Now go write that sentence ten times….I’m not kidding, okay I am, but you might win some brownie points if you do.
